3D Experiment Updates: Exciting New Results!

The 3D scaffold bioprinting experiments for the ISOLPHARM project started at the beginning of 2024 with some geometry printing tests, where GelMa was cured under a DLP homemade printer with the main task of testing the printing resolution of the instrument. At the end of October the first test where the ink was a mixture…

First in-vivo image with silver-111

At the CAPiR lab of Catania a solution containing Ag-111 was injected in mice. The Bruker In-Vivo Xtreme was then used to acquire digital autoradiography images after several time points. This is the first time in which the collaboration acquires in-vivo images through the Ag-111 radiation.

ISOLPHARM new publication on preclinical imaging

A new publication entitled “Ag-111 phantom images with Cerenkov Luminescence Imaging and digital autoradiography within the ISOLPHARM project” have just been published in the journal Applied Radiation and Isotopes. This paper describes the imaging experiments performed with phantoms filled with Ag-111 produced at LENA in Pavia and imaged by the Bruker In-Vivo Xtreme device at…

A new publication for the ISOLPHARM chemistry community

The ISOLPHARM chemistry group obtained a new publication entitled “Chromatographic separation of silver-111 from neutron-irradiated palladium target: toward direct labeling of radiotracers” in the journal EJNMMI Radiopharmacy and Chemistry. Congratulations to all the people involved in this research campaign!

Four ISOLPHARM master students graduated

Four master students of the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Padova graduated in September with theses projects developed within the ISOLPHARM project. Nicola Zancopè analyzed and interpreted CLI and DRI images in view of a Ag-111 biodistribution experiment. Vittoria Pavanello studied the performance of the novel 2D imaging beta detector of…
