Task 3 gets to the target

Task 3 activities are currently accelerating towards the selection and development of an efficient in-vitro model overexpressing CCK2R. Measurements of the intracellular calcium increase upon stimulation of the receptor were successfully performed, thus leading to an optimized tumor model which will be further tested in 3D scaffolds.

Below here, two video recording at 500-530 nm of the fluorescent signal on the selected tumor model are shown.

A) Receptor activation without antagonist.

B) Receptor Activation with our antagonist.

The activation of the receptor causes an increase in the fluorescent signal (video A), which was highly reduced by previous incubation with our antagonist (video B).
